What To Do In New York City?

I'm 15 years old and in febuary im going to new york with the school, i really want to visit to MTV shop along with the element shop but i dont know if there any good ? Also i heard the hershey shop is a bit to pricey ? I like rock music like fall out boy and panic at the disco too so any ideas where i could buy clothing for these bands ?
