So.... does bashing "Mainstream" Music somehow makes one cool now?

Mainstream is a hard to define term. It could mean really popular now. It could be really popular 20 years ago. It could be socially acceptable. I do my best NOT to bash mainstream bands, but sometimes, it's just so dang easy to make fun of Dragonforce. But yeah, I kinda try to listen to more underground stuff to distance myself from the mainstream. I don't know why. I just do.
