My husband and our lack of life?..How do i get him to be more open in talking about this?

Hon, after 18 years of marriage, I am still no expert but it does sound like a case of the marital blues (at least on his part). Men get bored. They are very visually stimulated creatures of habit who will just turn off if they don't get enough visual cues from their partner. What you can do instead of verbal initiation is just entice him sweetly with a y outfit or a nice mage (that extends beyond just the shoulders and back), etc. See if that gets him going. If not, then consider that there may be external factors going on with him, and get him to see his doctor (he could have erectile dysfunction and be embarred to tell you) or his libido may be low. Either way, these things can be fixed. Marriage takes a lot of hard work but it is totally worth it. I know right now it probably feels like your stuck in limbo, but if you love each other enough you will learn to work whatever obstacles out for the best. I hope I've helped a bit...Good luck!
