yes, you can. you have many options. Buy more RAM, since it is really cheap, it costs maybe $25 at most for 2GB stick. Thats what I did. If you are talking about just YouTube which sucks, then its your graphics card. If you have a slot for a graphics card then find out which one you need at best buy, but adding more ram should do it. If it's still a problem then try using VLC Media Player to play the files on your computer. Its free, and it's the best media player in the world. Seriously.
