Are you saddend over the outcome in Maine Election?

The question was put to a vote yesterday in the state of Maine over gay marriage. It was (surprise suprise) voted down by the voters. I am straight but I feel that if you love someone enough you should be aloud to be married. I personally experienced this issue with the man I love. He married the man he loves in California last October and in November the voters decided hay wait a minute we say you are not aloud to be married (his marriage is still legal because he was married before prop 8 past). are you saddened that the people of Maine and other states have decided to dictate who can and can not be married. Now of course I am still sad that I lost the man I love but I think I have grown past it a little. I told out mutual friend to tell him (the man I love) congratulations (even though it kills me on the inside).
